Editorial Policy
Every article on 114 Info is written, verified, and published according to the standards below.
Primary sources first
We verify facts against primary sources wherever possible. Official announcements from companies and institutions, regulatory filings, and public statistics take priority, and we do not draw conclusions from secondary coverage alone. The sources we consulted are listed with links at the end of each article.
Verifying dates and numbers
Specific figures — dates, amounts, quantities, and percentages — are checked against the original material. When sources disagree, we surface the discrepancy, and we label figures that are not settled as estimates. We do not invent numbers we cannot verify.
Corrections
When an error is confirmed after publication, we fix the text and update the revision date. For corrections that materially change the meaning, we note the change within the article. Correction requests are received through the Contact page.
Publication and update dates
Each article shows the date it was first published and, if the content later changed, the date it was updated. The publication date marks when the article first became visible; the update date marks when the text was last revised.
AI assistance and human review
AI tools may assist with organizing material and preparing drafts. However, a person reviews the facts and sources of every article before publication, and a human editor is ultimately responsible for the content.
